It's taken from the Dutch RTL website and features an interview Roger

edited a bit to make it smaller in size. If you want to see the full

Just came back from the gigs
in Frankfurt and Antwerp. Just a few slight changes have been made
to the setlists and the audiences were excellent on both shows. In
Antwerp it was nice to see Paul Rodgers taking over some of the vocals
on the slow part of "Hammer to fall". Another highlight
for me was that "Feel like making love" was played again.
Also Roger did an excellent and very long drum solo during "Let
There Be Drums" (cover of Sandy Nelson).
Anyway, I uploaded my pics
of the Frankfurt gig to the gallery.
Enjoy! |

I just returned from the concert
in Munich. What a great night it was! Paul Rodgers had to take care
of his voice so Roger and Brian took over lots of the lead vocals,
e.g. Hammer to Fall. Also Roger sang "Say it's not true".
I have uploaded my pics to the gallery.
Enjoy!
P.S. Frankfurt is next! |

Queen + Paul Rodgers on Tour
The tour is now very well under way with only slight changes to the
setlists. Despite some concerns
that the show in Rome wouldn't take place because of the death of
Johannes Paul II. the band did play the gigs in Italy and published
the following press release:
“It has been a very difficult decision,”
says a spokesman for the promoter, “but having consulted locally
it has been decided to go ahead. The band shares the view
generally expressed that the Pope had such deep affinity with youth
that it would not be disrespectful to continue.” (source)
Because of Paul Rodgers was suffering throat-wise with an infection
Roger and Brian had to take over more lead vocals in Firenze. In Pesaro
they added "Long away" plus a little drum jam before playing
"I'm in love with my car".
Ale send in two links with nice galleries of the Italian concerts:

Official word on Italian
concerts
Mr Jim Beach, Queen's Manager, was asked this morning (Saturday
2nd, 2005) whether the situation with the Pope
would affect the Italian dates, and his view is that concerts will
still go ahead. However, as he says, no-one knows what the government
will do - they haven't had to deal with anything like this for 28
years... (source
- check back Brian's site
should any official statement be forthcoming) |
