ROTC
viewing!
Last night the viewing of the soon-to-be-released Queen DVD, 'Return
Of The Champions', took place at the Vue West End Cinema, Leicester
Square, London. Advertised as 'introduced and attended by Brian May
and Roger Taylor', it was in fact Brian who took on the duty of introduction
of the 1-hour edit, while Roger took his seat for the screening. Brian's
few words consisted of mentioning people in attendance who had been
involved in the project (Jim Beach, Jamie Moses, Justin Shirley-Smith),
and he also spoke briefly about the charity benefiting from the evening,
MediCinema. (source) |

"Guitarist
Magazine", August 2005
One of the many courageous Emergency Services personnel who attended
Queen's Hyde Park concert, which honored London's Emergency Services
for their selfless bravery during the London terrorist bombings by
Queen offering free concert tickets to London's Emergency Services,
wrote a very touching, heartfelt, emotional, lovely, gracious letter..thanking
Queen...that is published in the August 2005 issue of ''Guitarist
Magazine'' which just hit the USA.
