"Queen - Die Show"
On account of having sold more than 190 mio. albums and having such big hits like "Bohemian Rhapsody" or "We Will Rock You", Queen is one of the most successful bands ever. Kabel Eins dedicates a show to the group (Monday, 15 May, 8.15 pm), which indicates the the most exciting moments of the band. Guests will be Klaus Meine, Doro Pesch and Rudi Dolezal. On Stage: The Scorpions, Chris Norman and the WWRY ensemble. (source)

We will rock you - 4th anniversary
As expected Brian, Roger and Ben Elton were present at this show. You can read Ben's speech on Brian's website. Brian perfomed with the band. Roger did not perform nor did a speech. According to a band member he's been quite ill.
(Ed: This statement was later edited on the message board it was posted on).

Fan club news
Sadly the fan club is in a terrible situation right now. Val has to leave cause the club cannot afford her any longer and the office will be closed. Jacky will continue to run the club from her home office. What can you do? If you are a member of the fan club and post on any of the official message boards you can can show your support to the club by simply adding this little picture to your avatar . If you are not a member but want to see the fan club stay: Go and join it!

"Highclere Rocks"
I stumbled over this so I don't know if it's definate or not. Roger's name has been removed from the list of artists that perform at this gig on May 20th. No official announcement has been released if or if not he is taking part or why he is no longer featured. I just thought I post it here cause there have been some heated discussions going on various message boards if or if not he should play at this gig.

:::Site updates::: Nothing really.... But I deleted the gig at Highclere Castle in the calendar section.
And a personal plea: I am very grateful for all the messages in the shout box and it's doing really well. Don't get me wrong, we all "love" Roger but I think there's really no need to spam the shout box with it all the time. I reserve the right to delete spam messages. Thank you!

We Will Rock You Stays Alive in London
(by Theatre.com Staff) We Will Rock You will rock on in London after all. The Queen musical, which interpolates Queen songs into an original story by Ben Elton, had announced a closing of October 7 at the Dominion Theatre, but the producers (Phil McIntyre Entertainment, Queen Theatrical Productions and Robert De Niro's Tribeca Theatrical Productions) have now announced that they will extend the show's booking period into April 2007.
"The fact is, the show has proved such a continuing draw with both the home market and visitors to London, that it became obvious that a move this year would be premature," said producer McIntyre in a statement. "Besides which, the theatre owners very much wanted us to stay. In the end, they, and the public, made the decision for us."
The theatre owners—Live Nation, formerly Clear Channel Entertainment—were originally negotiating with Kevin Wallace Productions to open a London production of the current Toronto stage version of The Lord of the Rings at the Dominion. But following mixed reviews in Toronto, those plans have now changed. The press agent for The Lord of the Rings says that a London production will still go ahead, but "perhaps in a different venue."
We Will Rock You will mark its fourth anniversary at the Dominion on May 11 with a performance that Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor and scribe Elton are expected to attend. A new production of the show also opens at Johannesburg's Nelson Mandela Theatre on May 9, and further productions are expected in Zurich in December and a return to Japan in the same month. We Will Rock You will also embark on a UK tour.
(Ed: For those that booked tickets, flights, etc. for October 7, please read Brian's letter from May 3 about this subject here!)

What's next for Queen?
We music media people can never be content with the here and now. We always are asking “what’s next” of our favorite bands. That’s exactly what we did when we caught up with Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen. Not surprisingly, they decided to have a little fun with the question.

“(Brian) I don't know, I think, (Roger) St. Bart's, (Brian) Yeah, some place with my cats. You know we don't have definite plans that's the way we are, we're not planning a future of career or what ever, but I have a feeling this relationship with Paul (Rodgers) is not an overnight thing."

Queen + Paul Rodgers have just finished spending many nights together on tour; if you missed it and care to see what the chemistry is like, you can look forward to a new DVD release chronicling their show in Japan. It’s called Super Live in Japan *and it’ll be out in the U-K on Friday; U-S release date T-B-D. (ED: The final part of the last paragraph above (in italics) is an error.) source
